I read every message and try to reply within 24 hours (US Pacific time, weekdays).
The timer doesn't continue in the background — is that a bug? No. Ripen is designed to stay quiet when you put your phone down. The timer uses wall-clock time, so when you bring the app back, the countdown reflects how long has actually passed.
Can I sync between iPhone and Apple Watch? Yes — sessions you start on Apple Watch automatically sync to your iPhone's orchard via Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. No account or cloud server is involved; it's strictly between your paired devices.
Will my data be sent anywhere? No. Ripen has no servers, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party SDKs. Everything you do — your name, focus history, settings — stays on your devices. See our Privacy Policy.
The ambient sound stops when I lock the screen. That's intentional in 1.0. The app pauses ambience when you put the phone away so it doesn't drain battery. Background-locked playback may arrive in a future version.
Can I export my focus history? Not yet in 1.0. If this matters to you, please email me — I'm tracking requests.
