- API Keys (BYOK): VibeRead operates on a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) model. Your AI API keys are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage sync. We do not store or have access to your keys on our servers.
- User Preferences: We store settings such as voice selection, reading speed, and theme preferences locally to improve your experience.
3. Data Transmission and Third Parties
- AI Service Providers: Extracted text is sent to AI services (like Minimax) to generate audio. Please refer to their respective privacy policies regarding how they handle data.
- No Data Selling: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or web history to outside parties.
